The Last War We Ever Won

Stories from the Greatest Generation

World War II embodied the true spirit of what the United States of America was founded on.

Unity

It was the united effort of individual men and women that built the planes and flew them,

that built the ships and sailed them,  that built the artillery and fired them,

that sewed up the wounded,  divebombed their targets,  and crashed through enemy lines.
Here are a few of those individual’s stories who served in that united effort,

stories that make up what history now calls,

“The Greatest Generation”
